Response to Project2
1. In my essay, I am most proud of the amount of
research I complied and how well I used them. At first, I was intimidated with
the many sources I found, but I integrated them smoothly and in the end was
very satisfied with my final product.
2. If I were given more time on my essay, I would
have added more to my literature review to give the intended audience more information
to form an opinion about the topic. I feel like I did a great job with the time
given but there can never be too many facts in a research paper. Overall, I
would not change any key components.
3. The annotated bibliography benefited me the most
by giving me an overview of all of the key points of my sources. When writing
my paper, I found myself referring back to my bibliography more than my outline,
which was surprising for me. I assumed I would be using my outline more, but my
annotated bibliography had more of the key information.
4. When writing this research essay, I learned the
amount of time taken to fully understand a certain topic. This taught me to not
make assumptions about topics I am unfamiliar with because there is likely much
more to it than what is on the surface. It was a tough paper to write, but in
the end very rewarding and I am happy with the knowledge.
5. If I could change something about Project 2, I
would change the word count requirement to a larger gap because I feel that
papers can vary whether they need more words included or not. Overall, I felt
the project was a fair assignment with reasonable requirements.
