research paper reflections
1.
What are you most proud of in this essay?
-
I like the overall message of my essay. I feel
that it is very interesting, I read it over probably 10 times, and I honestly
usually never reread my essays. I am proud of this essay.
2.
What would you change or add to this essay if
you were given more time?
-
There is not much that I would change. However,
if I had more time, I probably would make sure the structure of it was perfect.
I would also probably add/improve my paragraphs because there is always room
for improvement. Even though we were supposed to state opposing views from our
topic, if I was given more time I would have probably taken that part out
because I feel that it clouds the essay.
3.
I think that when we had to create the outline
for our essay it benefited me the most because I was constantly referring back
to the outline. The outline helped me create an organized and well written
essay because I knew what I was going to be talking about in each paragraph,
and I knew where each paragraph was supposed to go. If I was not assigned this,
I would have never made an outline, and I feel that my essay would have been
disorganized without it.
4.
From writing this essay I actually learned a
ton. I never really knew if cell phones could have damaging effects on our
health. My parents, especially my mom, would always tell me to stop being on my
phone so much, and that It was dangerous to sleep with. So, I always thought
they were dangerous. However, after researching this topic and writing my
paper I now know that cell phones are safe, and that my mom was wrong.
5.
If I could change anything about project two I would
only change the part where we had to add the opposing sides. In the beginning, I
thought that this would be a good asset to my paper; however, after writing
this portion to my essay I feel that it takes away from the topic of the paper.
I also would take away the literary review.
