Project 2 Reflection

1. I really enjoyed finding research about this topic so I feel like I incorporated very good sources that had a lot of interesting information on the subject. I usually would just take the first few sources I find, but this time I read a lot of articles and studies before I chose the ones I found most interesting and relevant.
2. I probably would just add more information on how music therapy can be helpful. Since music therapy is my major and it’s something I’m passionate about, I can talk about it forever and love talking about how it can be beneficial so I would probably just add more examples of how music therapy is beneficial.
3. I think writing multiple drafts and using my teacher’s comments and peer reviewing to help me edit and revise my essay was the most helpful. I usually only write one draft of an essay, so I feel like writing multiple drafts really helped me write a better quality paper. Also getting feedback from other people gave me other insights of what I should add or change.
4. I learned how to write an annotated bibliography and how to write a lit review. I have never heard of those things before this class. And I feel like learning about how to incorporate those into a research paper taught me a lot about how to include sources in my papers and how to properly summarize and incorporate the information I find from other sources. Before this I would usually use sources just for quotes.
5. There’s not really anything I would change, I felt like this was a reasonable project and had clear instructions.
