P2 Final Draft Reflection

P2 FINAL DRAFT REFLECTION
1. What are you most proud of in this essay?
I am proud of how I used the sources I chose to get my point across. I am proud that I actually had a clear stance on my topic and was able to write about it.
2. What would I change/add if I was given more time?
I would go more in depth and analyze my sources even more. I would add more information and change the format of my essay. I would try and understand how I was supposed to lay out this essay.
3. Considering the process of the bibliography and the multiple drafts, which part benefited you the most?
I think the annotated bibliography helped me the most because it made the literature review part of my final draft easier. It allowed me to have somewhere to start from and build upon.
4. What did I learn from this?
I learned that there are different types of essays and some that I don’t like to write. I learned that this type, the research essay, is one that I absolutely hate writing. I learned that this is not at all my style of writing and that I’m not the best at it. I also learned that I feel very strongly about equality and representation, as well as the theater community, which was the basis of my essay.
5. If I could change anything about this project, what would I change?
I would make this project more of a persuasive essay rather than just a research essay because I feel that persuasive essays show how you can do research and then shape that into your argument.
