Improving the Final Draft

While I knew my first draft was not top quality, my conference highlighted some severe flaws present in the writing I had completely overlooked. I had made an effort to use all my source, yet I neglected to explain why these sources were important and how certain citations were important. This was a prevalent issue in the entire paper and while it is a rather large issue, this can easily be fixed with some editing. Another issue I had was with my literature review, which was also fairly lacking. It suffered the same issues as the rest of my paper, though this will likely require a more thorough rewrite to fix. Other than that, I received fairly positive feedback on my paper from my conference. My arguments were solid, my research question was good, and my sources were accurate and informative, which makes my job of editing much easier now. With these issues in mind now, I feel I confident I will do very well on this paper.
