Final Reflection

I am most proud that I was able to fully develop an argument over 2,000 words. this is the longest paper I have had to write at FSU, and i was very nervous about completing it. Just the fact that I was able to find the scholarly articles, which was new to me as well, and put those together into a coherent essay is amazing to me.

If given more time, I probably would have changed my entire topic. I picked my topic in the last minute because I was struggling with coming up with a new area to research. After i really got into researching my topic, I realized that finding relevant information in the articles to be very difficult.

The annotated bibliography, while tedious, is probably the most beneficial to me. I don't ever choose to do it on my own, but when I have to, I find it really helpful in breaking down my sources and getting the main ideas out if it. It then makes it easier to back and write the paper in general.

I learned that I REALLY need to stop procrastinating. My take away is that I never want to have to sleep in Strozier again because I did not use my time effectively to pace myself when writing a paper, or doing any project. Moving forward I will be a lot more strict with my planning and use of time.

Anything worth changing would be in my own habits. I actually liked the structure and freedom of this project, I just didn't take advantage of it. There was plenty of time, with achievable goals and mini deadlines that helped move the project along, and we got to pick our own topic which is always appreciated.
