My research topic will be focused on the the flag debate, is it a peaceful protest or is it anti-American?
When NFL players kneel or stay in the locker room during the national anthem are they disrespecting the flag, America, and our veterans or are they merely peacefully protesting inequality in America, and the hypocrisy of the songs message as it relates to them.
Are NFL players practicing their right to free speech?
Is kneeling before the flag during the national anthem a right provided to us by the first amendment or is it anti-American?
This interests me because my i feel this is a constitutional debate, one of free speech, and citizens right to peaceful protests.
