Chapter 5 :) :)
Like most of my classmates, I also found this chapter to be particularly helpful when compared to some of the other chapters we have read. I wrote a few research papers in high school, but typically the topics were assigned or there was a list of topics to choose from. Choosing your own topic is pretty difficult because it is hard to remain un-biased, find an adequate amount of research, and have a broad enough, yet narrow enough question. The steps in the beginning of the chapter provided a lot of insight towards starting the research paper and choosing a topic. I enjoyed reading this chapter and learning ways to make writing much easier and efficient.
I also enjoyed this chapter because despite it's length, it was fairly easy to follow and had a lot of examples. In my high school we wrote research papers too however the majority of teachers assigned topics to students. I am afraid I won't realize I don't have enough information on my topic until I have already spent a copious amount of time on my topic.
