Journal 2

1. I feel like i was able to improve from my first draft to my final draft as it gave me additional time to think and revise what my ideas were. I normally do not write multiple drafts but by doing so i was able to more clearly express my thoughts and was able to give a deeper understanding to the audience of the paper.

2. The most important thing I learned from this assignment was that multiple drafts help put all of the thoughts and ideas into a larger overall perspective and allows for the addition or removal of details that would distract from the intend point of the essay.

3. If i had another week to work on my essay i would just go further in depth with the thesis of my paper and include additional examples which show case the differences in the way the two genres conveyed the same message just in different ways.

4. If i could rewrite the project prompt in the syllabus i would have liked to see the incorporation of a research aspect to aid with project two, along with having the essay need to be more analysis driven as opposed to pointing out differences in the two genres.
 By additional analyzing you are able to grasp a greater understanding as to why the two genres convey the message for different reasons.
