ChApTeR 7 rEsPoNsE
I found Chapter 7 to be really helpful, especially with correctly quoting articles. Personally, I find myself using quotes much more often than I use paraphrasing or summarizing. I am not entirely sure why I tend to use quotes more often. I feel like they look more professional than paraphrasing I suppose. Anyway, this article really helped me refresh on how to correctly quote sources, especially now that I am working on the research paper.
I may quote more often than anything else, but I do paraphrase here and there. This article actually taught me about paraphrasing, instead of refreshing my memory. As I have mostly used quotations in my writings, I have either not paid attention to how to correctly paraphrase or have forgotten it. Either way, I am glad I read this chapter, because I have a feeling I will be looking back to this chapter throughout the research paper writing process.

I also use quotes much more heavily than I paraphrase, or at least I think I do. Sometimes it is hard to tell if I'm paraphrasing or if I am using my own words completely. After reading this chapter I am going to be much more careful about making sure I cite everything that may not be my own original idea.
