Chapter 5 Response

This chapter is almost "A Tale of Two Cities". The first bit is the more useful part, in how it describes the process of picking a topic, refining the topic, figuring out some of the subtopics that any topic will create, etc. The bits about how to properly use Wikipedia were useful, as was the advice on things to avoid. Knowing how to say no to a topic, or how to refine a topic into a better "yes" is a critical process and I think the chapter did a great job with it.

The second part, the student example should have, I feel, been an appendix. The transition into it is somewhat abrupt and given its length, I think an appendix would have been a far more appropriate location for it.
