Chapter 5 response

I have not written a research paper since I took anatomy my junior year of high school. Research papers always seem intimidating at first, but once you actually start them they are not as bad as you think. I am happy that for this class we get to choose our own topic because it is much easier to write a research paper on something I enjoy. The only hesitation I have to writing this research paper is the limitations we have on certain topics. I am very interested in politics and I love learning about the different aspects; however, I understand why a topic like this would be controversial and a grey area. I have been having trouble thinking of a good essay topic that I would enjoy learning about. However, Chapter 5 really helped me narrow down my options and helped me to make a final decision on what to write about. The aspect of the topic that I found most beneficial was the questions the chapter offered to help me narrow down my essay topic and make sure the topic I choose is A material. I found this chapter very important and really beneficial to my essay as a whole. Through the process of writing this research paper I will definitely be referring back to Chapter 5 for helpful tips on how to make my research paper the best it can be.
