Annoying ways

I enjoyed reading this article because I really appreciated the metaphors the author used and I felt that it made the points very relatable. I totally agree with the fact that when people put in random quotes that don't add anything to the content of what's being said, I get very annoyed. I think that it's definitely important to use quotes in a strategic way because they can be a very good tool for the writer. Quotes are something that is almost always present in research papers but they must be transitioned into properly as well as cited correctly, which is almost always a struggle. There are so many rules for citing and 9 times out of 10 I will mess something up which is bad but I'm working on it so hopefully this research paper will have properly cited sources. To sum it up, this article really stressed some important insights into how important it is to use quotes correctly and I think this will be very useful since this is a common problem that many writers, including myself, have.

I also feel that when I do sourcing that I do it wrong most of the time. I hope that on this research paper that I can properly source everything. I loved the insightful tips that the author brought up, because I know that when I am writing my paper that I will remember these critical points, and try to avoid them or properly use them.

  2. Just like you I enjoyed reading this article. I thought it was really insightful about how to quote and cite your sources. Like you, I mess up siting my sources but that's understandable because there are so many rules. The article did stress some points and rules but it did help that there was a lot of analogies with things like Spider-Man because I enjoy Spider-Man.
