Annoying ways (late b/c sick)

In the article "Annoying Ways People use Sources" by Kyle Stedman, the author provides a lot of valuable information from a perspective that I had never considered in the past. Whenever writing my papers and editing them, I had never previously thought about all of the little errors and mistakes I make that could seem so annoying to someone who's a professional writer, unlike myself. Stedman's article was enjoyable to read because of how well he was able to form it into an analogy. Starting off the article with an example about annoying drivers was a great intro, and I loved how he kept this theme constant throughout the paper to help the reader better understand his expert viewpoint. All of the information that he shared was a lot of things that I often forget about when writing my papers and citing sources, so it was a great reminder. My favorite example that Stedman shared was the "Dating Spiderman" scenario, where the writer is all over the place with their quotations and explanations. The analogies used will hopefully help me remember things to steer away from when adding quotations into my writing in the future.
