Shitty First Draft Reading Response

After reading this Shitty First Draft, the article allowed me to feel more comfortable as a writer and that I was not allow in this and that every one thinks and feels the same about their level of confidence when it comes to writing. She discussed the process that all writers even the greatest ones go through when it comes to writing. The endless drafts, the endless corrections and revisions, that you can always make your paper a better paper. That only a very few really know what they are doing when writing something. She discussed her own personal experience with writing and the process in which she is about to write which allowed me find similarities between me and Anne.
Her sense of humor relieved society's pressures and expectations to when it comes to writing which allowed me to not feel so intimidated by the greatest writers, like I was before. It allowed me to gain a new perspective on how to view writing and resulted in finding that I was becoming more confident as who I am as a writer. That my process and style is not bizarre but instead similar to how many people in the world go along with their writing.
Within this article, she emphasized that you need to begin something, that you need a starting point anywhere when it comes with how you are going to start writing about something. That after doing these first terrible efforts, you can later come back to it and revise and make your second draft. The final draft would be your third draft where you really check for any little errors or mistakes. Overall, this article made me feel like I am actually a better writer than I thought I was and gave me a new direction to try out when it comes to the writing process. That you are not alone when it comes to the struggles of writing expectations and that all you need to do is to start at some place on the paper and just continue to revise until you got it just right.
