In the introduction, I completely disagreed when reading that the company threatened the mother because of a song playing in the background of her video. We all take videos singing and/or dancing to videos and post them on social media with no intent on stealing the artists songs. The threat made against her was absolutely absurd. Copyright should not have been a major issue in this example because it was clear she was not trying to steal or replicate the song. I believe if you are making a serious video you should cite the sources you are using, but if it is an innocent video like the one mentioned, there should be no question on whether or not someone should threaten to sue or not.
