I think that the genres of remixing, appropriation, and interactivity are not necessarily a bad thing. They are creative and unique in its own way. The genres are just building off of other people’s ideas. The genres are the equivalent of sharing. I think that big corporation’s suing individuals who are not profiting off of their work is wrong. Universal suing a mother who posted a video on YouTube of her baby dancing is absurd. I think copyright is good thing when it prevents someone from profiting off of another person’s work. I think you can borrow if you are not claiming it as your own or making a large profit off of it.
