In my opinion that the problem discussed in the introduction is ridiculous and in todays culture the video was strictly for entertainment purposes and not meant to step on anyones toes and certainly not to infringe on any copyrights. In todays society appropriation can be found everywhere from television to music and everything in between. For the issue of copyright infringement there is many laws protecting the creators of content but also to protect people that want to use content for their own purposes to a certain extent; as long as the creator of the content is given credit people are allowed to use the content for things like a video like Youtube. I believe there is a line between appropriately borrowing from someone else's work and crossing the line but this can change from situation to situation.
