chapter nine reflection
I didn't find the chapter nine guid every helpful I feel that it was mostly review of stuff we already know. For the most part it seemed like review from high school overall but while reading so other reviews maybe thats just in my case and I had some hard teachers. Either way I found the passage boring not enjoyable in the least and that it didn't help me all that much to be honest.
I agree with the fact that there wasn't much to be offered here. But maybe you could use the example papers to guide you when making your revisions when it comes to tackling them. As I also had some hard teachers though, it's probably common knowledge for us to be able to edit our own work. I am thankful for having those teachers now, because they have helped me through college. Here's to them!
ReplyDeleteI agree that the passage was not the most interesting, as most textbook excerpts lack in that department. The content in the chapter was mostly review for me as well and reassured what I already knew about revisions, that they are necessary. I agree that the passage did not help me much either, as it was common knowledge.
ReplyDeleteI agree this passage was mostly a review for us as we probably all have peer reviewed essays before. But I did like the part where they gave us a list of questions to ask people who are looking over our essays, because I never really thought about what I should ask a person to look for who's grading my essay.
ReplyDeleteI understand what you mean, but hopefully this will improve our ability to edit other peoples writing , it may not and this would be a complete waste of time so I guess that will be determined. I think however even though it was mostly review that it can still help us even as just a reminder of what to do.
